Our story goes way back. We’ve known each other since 7th grade, when Matt’s parents lived right behind Lindsey’s. Matt would ride his bike over all the time, and from day one, we were best friends. Even though we went to different schools, we always found ways to see each other—and texted nonstop in between.

Funny enough, Lindsey’s mom always had a feeling we could be more than friends—throughout high school, she’d say, “What about Matt?”

We went to all our dances together, then off to different colleges—Matt to the University of Miami, Lindsey to the University of Dayton. Even apart, we stayed close through texts, Snapchats, and visits. Every break, we’d pick up right where we left off. Our friendship became the heart of our relationship.

After college, Matt finally asked Lindsey on a real date—and the rest is history. The proposal completely surprised her, especially when family and friends showed up to celebrate with us.

For our wedding day, we want it to feel like us—joyful, relaxed, and full of love. More than anything, we want to celebrate our story with the people who have been cheering us on from the very start.
